OK, so in the past week or so, suddenly pumping is KILLING my nips. I mean, I cringe. I've turned down the suction, but even the slightest pressure hurts. What's up with that?

(Nursing doesn't hurt at all.)

I went through this .it was weird because i had been BF adn pumping for a while before, then for about 2 weeks, it hurt like hell.... now, only occasionally.......who knows?

My left side has been doing that on and off. I read that putting some of that Lansinoh cream on the nipple does help.

? i used to have to pump at full suction but now i only pump at half because full suction hurts like a biitch. i have no idea why it happens. but nursing doesn't hurt me either?

Same here! The Lanshinoh cream has been helped a lot.

I guess I'll pull the lanshinoh out of the cabinet from the early days...

Yes! Happened to me about 3 weeks into pumping more often, once I went back to work. For me, I needed to change the size of my flanges and even then it took a week or two to get better.
