Update to back/leg pain

Went for my 12 wk appt today and baby looks great, HR 157!  Dr. thinks I have a compressed ilioinguinal nerve probably due to my spina bifida (which is funny because that is the same nerve my surgery patients complain about after hernia surgery!) and to rest while alternating heat and ice.  He also said I could take an occassional ibuprofen, but I'm too scared to do that.  Doubt I take any.  Also, we found out that instead of getting to schedule my big US for our next appt, he wants to me to see the high risk US tech at the high risk office because of my history of spina bifida. At least it will be a cool 4-D US and one of my best friend's sister is the US tech there!
