I plan to BF and pump so I need a couple nursing bras. Being so large chested it's important I still get the support I need. I'm a size 36G and have not gotten any bigger this pregnancy but I'm sure I'll grow a cup size once my milk comes in, so I'll probably need a 36-38H. Can anyone recommend some good nursing bras and where to buy them?
TIA
Re: Nursing Bra for large breast
I would wait until you get fitted and have an lc do a bra fitting. Then I bought one from a medical service equipment place.
The ones that they sell at target or bru didn't seem very supportive and I am busty and look chubby if I am not wearing the right bra.
My baby is two!!! Baby girl 9/17/09
My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11
I'm a 36 G now that I'm BFing (from a 36 C!) and I swear by Bravado nursing tops/tanks, etc. I've tried less expensive brands (Target, Motherhood) and I not only didn't get support but they made my boobs and back hurt from the lack of support.
I agree with PP who said to wait and get fitted post baby. I thought I was a 36 D and bought a few things in that size and none of them fit because my cup size was so large.
I'm a 34F and found a great no wire bra while we were at Nordstroms. It was expensive (around $55) but has given me great support. I had been using some cheapo ones from Motherhood maternity and they were very uncomfortable and didn't fit right. The brand is by Elle Macpherson Intimates.
Here's the one I got which you can also get through Amazon:
