You'd think being marred for over two years I wouldn't be scared but I am! DH had the hard job of asking for my hand in marriage so I've never actually sprang anything significant on my folks...
I fabric painted "I love my grandma GG" and I love my granddaddy" on 2 different onsies and I have wrapped them up as anniversary presents for them... anyone have any interesting stories from when they told people?
We are only a few weeks but if something happened I would want my folks to know. We are waiting to tell DH's parents until after the first Dr. appt and then everyone else in at about 10-12 weeks.

Good luck, they will be thrilled. I didnt do anything creative just sort of blurted it out to my parents.
Have fun!
We gave each of our parents "I love grandma" and "I love grandpa" bibs.
We told them a couple weeks before Father's day. Since we hadn't gotten our mothers anything, we said it was a late Mother's Day present and an early Father's day present. They were estatic when they opened them up.
I had just found out on a Friday, and we told them on a Monday. It was hard keeping it a secret that long. Plus if something happened, we wanted them to be there for support.

One of the cutest ideas I've heard is to get the group together for a picture (that you or your DH takes) and instead of going 'Say cheese!' you go 'Say Suzie's pregnant!' That way you can snap a picture of the initial shocked faces!
Have fun!

How exciting! I'm sure they'll be super excited. For some reason I was really nervous about telling my dad. He was so happy though.
My mom said, 'that's great, I need to go feed my cats and take the trash out'. So it has to go better than that
