Appt update and finished birth plan today

I can't believe I only have 9 weeks until Ellie is here! EEK! I found out at my appt today that they changed my c/s date to March 1, so we'll have another Monday child. It's so weird to see all the appts, including the c/s, printed out on a sheet of paper. They don't even take up 1/2 a sheet! Scary and exciting. Her hb sounded great today, and I'm still measuring about a week ahead. I didn't look at the scale, I was too chicken so soon after Christmas. lol.

I had some pretty good swelling in my feet/legs and hands this morning. And my BP was elevated again and higher today than ever, so they took some labs and I get to have a follow-up next week. We're possibly going to discuss bedrest at that appt, as they are not pleased that the BP is consistantly going up (sans my last appt, which they think was a fluke since I'd been sitting/relaxing for 2 hours prior to the reading). So now we wait for results!

So to keep myself calm, I've created a scheduled c/s birth plan. It's very simple, but it anyone is having a scheduled c/s and would like to see it for ideas, let me know. I know I'm always interested in others' birth plans to get ideas.

Aw, after your last appt I thought your BP's were finally getting under control. Sorry it went back up, but thank God they're monitoring you so closely.

Goodness...only 9 weeks left?! Where in the world has the time gone? I'm glad Ellie's doing so well. And congrats on finishing your birth plan. I haven't put any thought into mine yet.

Did they move up your u/s date? I can't recall your previous date. Hopefully all is okay with your lab work.

Aw thanks ladies!

Yeah they changed the c/s date, but just by one day. LOL. I was being rather anal about the day tho, because now she's going to share her birthday with our closest/favorite cousin. But that will be OK, and probably cool down the road.

I'm really hoping the bloodwork comes back and that my BP can be managed with meds or something so I don't have to go on bedrest. But I'm going to trust the Dr and what she thinks, we'll find out next week! I was really hoping it was going to be normal again today, I even focused on being relaxed while I waited for the appt. Grrr!
