Pregnant after a Loss

Update on my betas

I went in for my ultrasound this morning, and everything looked great.  We didn't see a  heartbeat yet, but my RE said that it is still early to see one.  He said that he was concerned about an ectopic pregnancy, since my betas slowed.  He wanted to check to be sure.  He said he didn't want me to have to go to the ER over the holiday to find out it was an ectopic.  Baby is in the uterus(only one thank goodness), good size sac, and we could see the yolk sac.  He was very happy with everything.  I go back for another ultrasound next Thursday to see the heartbeat.

Thank you for dealing with my freak out last night.  I was VERY nervous this morning, but everything is OK right now.  Whew.

  • that's great news!!! I don't see why your RE is freaking though, it's common knowledge that betas slow down once you hit certain points. He needs to check himself before I slap him for making you crazy/worried

Lol I think he didnt want me ruining his New Years Eve party by going to the ER for pain.... He kept saying he didn't want to have to worry about it over the holiday.
