Pregnant after a Loss

I feel like I rode a horse to work!

My "stuff" down there, bones and all, are SOOOO sore! When I walk, I look like I just got off a horse after a long ride. I'm assuming this is normal, since the joints and ligaments are all loosening and widening, but DANG! Let the waddling begin!

  • Same here! I thought it was too early to feel "bruised" down there, but I guess not.

  • I've been dealing with this for the last 2 months I think. OB says its like RLP but in a different spot. I don't really have RLP on my sides but I think that might be better. The only thing that has really helped me has been to continually walk. Eventually things feel better, until the next morning when I wake up. Oh, and don't sit for more than an hour at a time either. That seems to make it worse too.

  • Yeah, I have a desk job and when I get up to get a client, I pratically walk like my underwear are stuck up my crack! Embarrassing. My co-workers ask what is wrong. I don't want to be the complaining pregnant chic, but I have to tell them what is wrong! I look like a fruit cake walking down the hall. After I walk a while, it gets better, but I don't do a lot of walking at work. It's amusing to me a little, just because I picture myself walking and think I look quite funny!
  • I know the exact feeling. Talk to my midwife today and it is my pelvis bone separating. She told me to try and avoid stairs and any motion involving lift one leg (ie getting in car i am suppose to sit and then turn my legs into the car, not step into the car.) I also get a lot of pain turn from side to side in the bed.
  • I feel the same way. I look crazy when I walk. It is so painful! I found I have to avoid one leg movements. Putting on my pants is the worst. I have to sit down and do each leg rather than stepping in. Shoes too. Rolling over in bed gets me every time also.
