ME ME ME!! My LO was doing great! Sleeping from 8pm-2am and from 2:30-6am, then all of a sudden he has reverted back to being 2 months old and wakes up about 3-4 times and is HUNGRY! I need my sleep.
DS still gets up once a night to eat, usually around 5am. He sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night but is able to put himself back to sleep quickly (thank you Ferber!). We've had a few 12-13 hour uninterrupted stretches which were heaven! Before Ferber he was up 3+ times a night, sometimes for 1.5 hours or more.
Me! His three-month growth spurt about killed me and we noticed more wakefulness at 4 months, but he was already not STTN so it wasn't as big a deal to me as it is to some people here.
I try soothing and offering a paci when he wakes and that works some of the time, but he's pretty consistent about wanting to eat every 3 hours. He's just shy of 14 lbs and I saw someone post about them being able to sleep longer once they hit that, so I am crossing my fingers.
DS doesn't normally, but he's STTN three times in the past week so I'm hoping and praying it's around the corner. Of course, then he was up twice last night.
DS doesn't even remotely STTN. He usually goes to sleep between 8 & 9pm and then is up at 12:30, 2:30 & 4:30am to eat. This schedule is killing me especially since I have to be up at 5am to catch a 6am train into the city for work every day. I wish I knew how to get him to sleep more. He eats solids 3 times a day, I do the bedtime prep with a bath and a massage before pj's. NOTHING WORKS! I am at the end of my rope.

This, except DD started the 3-4x a night back up four weeks ago with the exception of one night.

glad I'm not the only one!! She used to sleep anywhere from 7-9 hours ... but lately its been no longer than 4, but usually less. :-( I just ordered several sleep training books from amazon .. something's gotta work!!
Used to, but he had a growth spurt, then an ear infection and some teething, and now we've started the wakeful. Yay!
The wakeful is the worst. He rolls onto his tummy, cries in his sleep, then wakes himself up, then wants to play instead of go back to sleep, but he's so tired that he cries when things aren't just right. We put the paci in, put him on his abck, turn on the seahorse, and then as soon as we lie back down he cries again.
Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.
Not here! He used to do 6-7hrs, eat, then another 2-3hrs, but in the last 2 weeks, he's typically up every 2 hours and eats every time. He's just started to sit unassisted and crawl, so I'm hopeful that this crappy sleep will pass now that he's started to figure these things out. Until he learns some new stuff, then we're screwed again.
Ugh, glad to know there are so many of us! DD doesn't eat in the middle of the night anymore, well maybe every 14 days or so, but she loses her pacifier and we have to get up to give it back to her at least 5 times! Ugh! Last night it was once an hour from 8pm - 3am!!
This post makes me feel better - I was starting to think I was the only one. DS goes down around 8:30 then up sometime around 12 to eat, 3 to eat (and won't settle back until about 4), 5 - usually just needs a paci, then 7 or so for the day.
We have maybe gotten one 5 or 6 our stretch since he's been born. It's awesome.
No STTN here! I miss the days he used to even sleep 9p-3a, then sleep til 6, then up at 8. It's been up about every 3 hours for the last few weeks. I'm so tired....
RJ doesn't. The memory of him STTN is very distant. It's been 7 weeks since he threw that good habit out of the window and doesn't seem like he wants to go back. Ugh
Pick me! We've moved B's bedtime up to 7:30 and that, in turn, moved the 3:00 feeding up to 2:00. Last night we was fussing at 11:00 - not sure what the deal was. DH had today off so I made him go up and soothe him. Ha!
Re: Who's LO doesn't STTN?
Not mine. She is up at least 3 times a night, sometimes more.
I'm with you. Down at 7 up at 9:30, 12:30, 4:30 and 6. Sometimes both of them at the same time.

Me! Me! I think he's just messing with us now. He's in bed by 8:30, maybe up at 11p, up at 2:30a, up at 5-6a, and up for good by 7:30a.
Every night is a long night at our house.
You know you are my hero.
This, except DD started the 3-4x a night back up four weeks ago with the exception of one night.
And I adore you darling. I'll even share my

He used to be up once a night to eat, around 3am (goes down around 9:30pm). Last couple weeks he's been up 3-5 times a night...and I'm tired!
