i wouldn't because you can ovulate and not have your cycle yet. I'm to paranoid to risk it!

You have to ovulate once before AF comes... and who knows when that will happen- maybe the night you have sex, maybe not.

You still ovulate even though you dont have a period... Ive been checking my CM and Im seeming to ovulate regularly again just not getting a period.. I would use some sort of protection.. That being said Ive never used pill methods We only use condoms.

I am on the mini pill and am thinking about Mirena. I just meant, you need something. My brother is 11 months older than me. My mom hadn't gotten her period and she went to the dr and asked when she should be getting it, and was shocked to find out she was pregnant again.

This is not true. Once you ovulate, you'll get your period. CM doesn't confirm ovulation, just that your body is trying to O. I had fertile CM the whole time I was on the pill and the ring before we started TTC.

OP, definitely use protection unless you're ok with getting pregnant again!

My mom EBF and within a few months was pregnant again. She had my sister and less than a year later my little brother. I would use something...condoms, etc.

From everything I've read it's pretty unlikely to get pregnant while EBF before six months as long as AF hasn't returned, baby is not STTN and not getting any formula. My midwife said it's effective bc but my obgyn said it's best to use another form of bc. We haven't been using bc but I wouldn't be upset if I got pregnant in the next few months. If we weren't planning on another baby soon I'd probably get minipill.
