B has been on it for nearly a month and there is a definite change in his personality and attitude towards feeding. It has worked well for us. We have, however, had to change his dose as he gets bigger.
Zantac has turned my crying baby into the sweetest thing ever. She is like a completely different baby. I did have to increase the dose but only once. Hope it works for your LO.

The great part about Zantac, is that it not only helps with the reflux now, but also heals the esophagus to heal from any damage that has been created from the stomach acid.

Epic epic spit-up within two days of starting Zantac. It may or may not have been related, but we stopped anyway. What we've found consistently is that his reflux symptoms and spit-up seems to increase dramatically during a growth spurt and then settle down over the following days. Of course, since he was born at 18.5" and now seems to be about 25.5" those growth spurts are really close together and not much fun for any of us.
I am so happy our pedi decided to put the twins on Zantac. They've been on it for 2 months and it's the greatest thing in the world. It's helped so much with the spit-up, and has also helped my little guy's congestion. They do need an increase in dose though, i've noticed over the last couple weeks the spit-ups been getting worse. We see the doc tomorrow for their 4 month checkups.
Re: Experience with Zantac
LO was put on it at her 4mo appt. Huge difference. She no longer soaks 5+ handtowels a day!
