We're still in our infant carrier and it's sooooo heavy and I just need to buy the britax we want. but i just don't wanna!

If LO still falls into the weight requirement, you can still use the infant seat.  Just take her out instead of lugging the seat around.

Why not leave the bucket in your car as a perm. seat until you have to switch???

we just got our convertible... but until we switch we leave the seat in the car now... to practice not having something to take him out in... I got so used to snap and go frame ... etc.. so now we're taking him out and wearing him out when we go places.

We bought the Britax we wanted back when DD was 4 months old because we found a good deal on it.  I REALLY don't want to switch car seats because the infant carrier is so convenient.  Luckily DD is a teeny little thing and is only 17 lbs so she still fits in the car seat and will for a little while longer.  I'm hoping to at least make it until the winter is over.

My one year old is still in her infant seat.  I have the Britax in a closet but right now she still fits in her safe seat.  She falls asleep during our 5am hour commute to work and Grammie-care so I lug the seat into my Mom's house and she sleeps until 8am.  For now I prefer her to get the extra sleep.  Otherwise I leave it in the car when we are out and about.
