Great Gift from Grandma

My Mom gave Evan a wooden train, a rattle, and some teething rings, and a nice check to put in his college savings account.  I am thrilled! 

DH's parents gave him a bunch of 9 month clothes (perfect), some toys and a John Deere wagon, which is really cool! 

I am glad that Evan did not end up with an overabundance of stuff and that he has a nice start to his college savings!

    That is awesome! 

    We have also been very fortunate for family members making contributions to the kids' college fund.  Now I just have to spend the next 18 years getting them there!

    In my opinion- NOTHING could be better than a check for the college fund (is there a tactful way to even ask for that?) The clothes and toys are a nice added bonus.
