Anyone else CIO right now? HELP

DD's been crying for 13 minutes so far.  Tonight is our third night.  First night - 35 minutes... second night - 20 minutes.  She seems especially hysterical tonight.  I'm a little worried.  Talk me down... I'm want to go in there.  It didn't seem this bad last night.  :o(

  • Hope you didn't go in there and that you stuck with it.  Don't know if you saw my previous post, but it bears repeating:

We've been sleep training DD for 8 nights.  She still cries every time, but is sleeping SO much better and puts herself back to sleep when she wakes up.  This is really important for her, I know:  she's growing up, and needs to learn this important skill.

Our friends who were wishy washy with their sleep training (by their own admission) are STILL trying to work out sleep issues with their 15 month old DD.  Yikes.

Hang in there; you can do it!!!!  As for the mommy instincts, mine screamed to pick our DD up the first night, after the first ten minutes.  They were wrong, wrong, wrong.  So, sad to say, I went into our bedroom which is next to hers, got a stuffed animal and snuggled with it in our bed, soothing it.  Crazy sounding, I know, but it worked.  Flame away, people. . .
