Re: Dr. Brown's Microwave sterilizer

  • I wish I could remember hw we did it!  I seem to remember just putting some number of ounces in the blue base.  There was no real "science" to it.  LOL
  • it needs at least 6 oz of water....I think. sorry I'm not much help. We have one but it's not the dr.brown. My sister has the dr.brown and that's all the advice she had.

  • This may be a dumb question, but are you talking about those bags that you just put all the bottles and accessories in and sterilize? Because I have the medela bags. The bag reads to put at least 2oz of water in and microwave for 1:30-2:00 minutes.

No, it's this big contraption with lots of holes in it for all the Dr. Brown's parts.  I'm going to make something up.  Lockdown is getting to DH (who only has to deal with it on the weekends), and he NEEDED to know EXACTLY how everything is supposed to go in it.  I really hope the obsessive perfectionism gene skips our kids! LOL

  • I have one, and I can take a pic when I get home if I can remember!

It's pretty easy once you know how to put the parts in.
