we went to get fabric to maybe make a second L&D gown... we soon discovered that she could make three for the price I paid for one.  Thus, she has found a pattern, started work, and I LOVE the fabrics we chose... I even found a pink cherry blossom one that I love.  She bought enough fabric to make Harper a little bubble sleeper to compliment one of my gowns (same pattern different color)

I think I'm going to send back the expensive ones... and have my mom's.  She had a home ec minor in college (can you believe that she could have majored in that?  SOOOO 1960's:) 

When they are done I'll post pics.... I just adore her craftiness... and her ability to keep me from spending six million dollars on stuff I may not need:)

Make her take pics as she goes along and then us crafty ladies can make them too   What kind of fabric did you end up buying?  I'm so picky when it comes to stuff like that.  I don't want to buy regular cotton fabric.  I'd like to use cotton sateen, but it's so hard to find.
