WTF is the correct terminology for...

a walker, push walker etc....

The "walker" with wheels on it that you put your kid in and they walk around in I call a walker.

The kind that they stand up in and push I call a push walker. I always seem to cause conufssion with people when I use those terminologies with others. What are the correct words for these?

Re: WTF is the correct terminology for...

  • sorry i'm no help. Her "walker" is a jeep car she sits in and can walk around, I call it her car. And her other one she stands up and pushes, I call her push walker or "the walker she stands behind"

  • I call the one you sit in a walker.  The ones you stand with:  push toy, sit to stand toy, etc.
  • I call the one you push a "walking toy."  And BTW, grinsandgiggles, those photos in your siggy are so adorable :)
