i just sent FI to the store for batteries

for L's ball popper -- would you believe it takes freakin' D batteries and thats the only item weve had so far that needs them!? needless to say, there is none in our house

oh, and mod.. he thanks you for being sent out at 8am bc i cannot wait to see this thing in action after your post!

we have the energizer rechargable batteries.  I think we need to buy more.  We also got the ball popper, but I'm not sure G is quite there yet to really enjoy it.  I plan on trying it out very soon!

Eko we got the ball popper thing too! I was so mad it needed D batteries! I am going to pcik some up on my way home from work!!

I took the batteries out of our flashlights to use in the popper. DD loves it!

Same dilema we're having here. DH said 'yes we have LOTS of batteries'  Yeah, no, we don't . So I had 2 new D batteries and took 2 from a flashlight and the balls only puffed out...no popping action. I hope something is open in this small town today....
