We were at our friends' house for dinner tonight. Shane was sitting on teh floor right in front of me. I looked up at my friend for 2 seconds, and he over-reached for a toy and face planted into their wood floors. He started screaming and I scooped him up and tried to soothe him. I kept saying "you're ok, it's just a bump, you're fine" He finally stopped crying and went back to playing. 10 minutes later I noticed that his top lip is swollen and has a purple bruise running through it. Nice. My poor litle monkey.

And DH gave himself a black eye this morning, complete with split skin.Family pics should be fun this year!
