BTW: glad your on. I took your advice and made my own caramel this morning. I didn't have a candy thermometer, so I just guessed, but I think it worked. Right now it is cooling in the pan on a wire rack. How long does it take to cool completely? Do you remember? I don't want to take it out too soon, but I'm not sure it's completely set up yet (it has been approx. 1.5 hours since it has started to cool). Thank you!

Thanks, girls!  I got those antlers at the Target dollar section.

butterbeans - I don't know for sure how long it takes to set up.  I usually make it late at night (that's when I do everything), and it is good to go by morning.  Sorry, I'm no help.  I hope it turned out well.  They are so yummy!
