Everyone wanted a potluck at our work, so I put up fliers and told everyone it was going to be today. There isn't much here today...which doesn't really bother me very much because times are tough and I am not going to make people bring stuff, but then someone asked me why nobody brought anything and why he is the only one...I DON'T KNOW...geesh. I hate throwing potlucks because then I am the one that gets blamed for everything! Last potluck we had, I got stuck cleaning EVERYTHING up! It was so annoying, and I vowed to never throw another potluck. Why did I do it? It just stresses me out and makes me mad. My boss is so nice, he feels bad that I am so upset that he is buying pizza for everyone!

mmm, pizza! i love that idea! maybe you could do something like that next time... ask everyone to kick in a couple bucks, and order some pies. no fuss no muss!

I know what you mean! I hate when people bring things like chips and dip or rice or salad or cookies... but i guess like you said times are tough and i guess we should be glad some people make an attempt to bring something... But still that is hard because when people know you are the one that coordinated the "event" they put everything on you...
