MAJOR house guest vent

DH and I had some friends staying with us for the last 3 days.  We let them use our towels, wash cloths, etc (as is usual when ppl are staying with you). 

Well, I just went to do wash and the wash cloth that one of them was using is completely ruined!  I don't know if she washes herself with bleach of peroxide or something, but it looks like it was bleached!  Also, the absolute WORST part is that rather than tell me about it she hid it inside the towel she was using!  I found the wash cloth wrapped inside her balled up towel.  Are you kidding me???

She should have just told me and apologized.  It's a freaking wash cloth, and not that big of a deal, so I don't understand why she went to such extremes to hide it from us.  lol

urgh.  Annoying.

That happened to my towels and I have refused to buy new ones since they were otherwise fine, but I am thrilled that they are old and frayed now so that I can get rid of them.

lol.  Getting new towels is the best.  That's why I'm mad at all.  Those towels were nearly brand new!

That's really annoying.  The hiding is the most annoying part.

Ohhhhhhh, maybe ProActive? I tried it for a while last summer before my wedding and it bleached my towels.

But that sucks she lied/hid it.

I used to live with her and she DOES use ProActive.  I wonder if that was it.  But the hiding it totally the most annoying part of all.  DH just suggested that she should have just buried it at the bottom of the bathroom garbage.  lol.  We would have never found it there and I would definitely never had noticed that we only had 11 wash cloths.

Yeh, that's it then.  To be fair, I didn't realize it had bleached the towels until the day after I used them. Actually, you might want to check your bed linens- it bleaches pillows too. Hopefully you use white pillows? 

 I like your DH's idea- WAY better than hiding
