Hi everyone, The TTC Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join we will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! Feel free to search under TTC prayer group and check in at whatever time of day. If you want to join the group and be linked up with a prayer partner please provide the following info: your name, if you choose, your email address, your age, if you are TTC baby number 1, 2, etc, and how long you've been trying. I am Suzanne, 39 years old, and my DH and I have been trying to have a baby for four years. In 2008, we had undertaken fertility treatments and had four IUIs ? all BFNs. We got our BFP after completing our first IVF cycle. Unfortunately, however, I had a missed miscarriage and a D&C on September 17. We will try IVF again in the summer.
 
I am Jessica; after TTC with PCOS for almost a year DH and I have been blessed with a miracle through IVF. Our daughter is due May 19^th, 2010.

For the next two weeks, December 21-25 and December 28-January 1, Jess will post between 11:30 to 12:30 Central Standard time. For the following weeks, January 4-9 and January 11-15, Suzanne will post between 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

This Week?s Events:

12/28-Diva?s next ultrasound

Praise:

Chelle: Her SIL is 18 ? weeks pregnant with twin boys! Please pray for a healthy and happy rest of her pregnancy!

Borst-Plotz: She had her ultrasound on 12/16. Her baby is a girl!

KyleneD: Her sister had her baby on Sunday! Thomas Neil was born at 3:46 a.m. on 12/13/09. He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20.5 inches long. He looks just like KyleneD?s sister!

Shotzie: She ended up quitting her job last Monday. She had been missing so much work because of migraines and just feeling crappy so she and her DH decided it?s best for her to stay home at this point. She?s doing much better and hasn?t had a migraine since! She?s enjoying having some time to relax and get things ready for the baby to come. She?s thrilled that she will be able to be a SAHM!

Softskate:  She got her BFP right before starting fertility testing! She had her first u/s and measured right on track at 8w3d with a hb at 174! She?s going to start GD and Pre-E testing and monitoring her BP because of her weight, please pray the tests come back negative!! Also pray for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Special Prayer Requests:

Borst-Plotz: The ultrasound tech said that the cord is attached to the side of the baby?s placenta instead of the center so she has to come back monthly. It shouldn?t cause any problems but may slow the baby?s growth if it doesn?t supply enough blood flow. If baby does stop growing then they?ll induce her early. Please pray that baby continues to grow and develop until atleast 37 weeks!

Greenclown:  She?s a regular on the BOTB board. She delivered her little girl, Jillian, at 24 weeks. Baby J passed away the other day from a brain hemorrhage. Please pray for Greenclown and her family during this difficult time.

SnowflakeBride06: She and her DH have been TTC since May 2009. She lost her tube in June 2009 and was diagnosed with PCOS in November. She now needs to try and lose 30 lbs. and go back to the doctor in February if they don?t get a BFP. Please pray that she is able to get a BFP soon, lose the weight, and not be discouraged.

Perry: She and her DH have had a change of plans and are now doing IVF rather than waiting for two cycles. She starts lupron in a few days and she and her DH are hoping for egg retrieval on January 15^th. If there are unexpected changes to scheduling it will be hard to fit things in with graduate school, so please pray that her ovaries respond as expected and the egg retrieval can happen on the 15^th.

KyleneD:  She just found out that her DH will not be getting paid this week. Hopefully by Friday (says his job). There is not enough money to pay everyone so they are not paying the directors. It?s a very complicated situation since DH is also a teacher and not just a director (all of the teachers got paid). They are okay financially at the moment but this is KyleneD?s last week working. She starts maternity leave on Monday and she and her DH were hoping that she could stay home full-time. If DH?s income is not guaranteed then she?s not sure how that will be possible. Please keep her and her DH in your prayers. Please pray that the Lord will provide for them financially.

Zanymermaid: Please pray for her friend. Her friend?s open adoption fell through and will not happen. This is very devastating for her friend because this adoption attempt came after a very long series of unsuccessful fertility treatments. Please pray that her friend and her friend?s DH are able to find peace and comfort during this difficult and heartbreaking time. Also, please pray for her coworker who has cancer and whose husband has passed away recently.

GROUP UPDATE: -If you have any upcoming events (appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) be sure to let me know so I can post them in the events section!! All ladies TTC ? please pray for continued strength, patience, and understanding as they struggle each cycle. Provide them comfort when AF arrives or they see a BFN on the test stick.

 

NEW MEMBERS: WELCOME!! Basically just check in daily and pray for your prayer partner. Most prayer partners also e-mail, chat, etc to each other about what they?ve been going through and support each other.
