Double fvck.

Our heater just went out, and it's already 56 and dropping inside.

And DH just managed to give me a black eye and crack my nose really good. (That part is all my fault bc I was tickling him, tried to nibble on his neck, and the tip of my cold nose made him jump. Back of head into my nose = OUUUUCH).

My nose will be fine, but please think happy thoughts that we can get the heater working bc it's farking cold outside.

    DH says the pilot light is out, but this is our first winter in our house so he's crawling around underneath the boiler with a flashlight and the owner's manual. Fun times.

    Oh sh!t - ours went our last week and my dad came over at 10:30 to fix it. Good luck - get that thing to kick on!!

    This and I know of a hotel room you can stay in. It'll be crowded in the king sized bed but we could make it work - I can't guarantee it'd be above 56 since DH is so hot blooded but I'll keep you warm ;)

    Do you have any space heaters at all?  Sleep on the living room floor by the fireplace?

    WIN! I like this idea best.

    No space heaters, but we might be able to do the air mattress on the living room floor w/ the fireplace thing.

    Either that or it's time to find a 24 hr Walmart and buy some heaters.

    That blows! I hope you get the heat back on very soon. Ours was out for over a week earlier this month so I feel your pain. Invest in some space heaters and an electric blanket, and keep a fire going in the fireplace. Stay warm!
