D.C. Area Babies

any local places to buy cloth diapers?

I am totally new to this so I'd love a place I could check the options out in person.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!!

Re: any local places to buy cloth diapers?

  • Unfortunately, there aren't really. Your best bet is to try to attend a Cloth Diaper 101 session at Abby's Lane

Abby's Lane also has free shipping, so they're a good place to buy online. I bought our entire stash online, just shopping sales and reading reviews (you can find info on both at diaperpin.com) and had good luck re-selling things I don't like on Craig's List.

    The DC Nest. Winers welcome.

  • Abby's Lane is great!  If you want to touch and feel them, definitely go to one of the Cloth Diaper 101 sessions, I think they're once a month.  Where in DC Metro are you?  I have quite a large stash with lots of variety and would be happy to show you if you're close.

  • You guys are so great!!!  Thank you SO much for your kind offer - you are so sweet!!!  I live in Frederick, MD so sort of far out, but Abby's Lane sounds perfect.  Thank you all so much!!!!
