NBR: Family Vent

Okay so...my grandmother is onlife support and has no brain function after a massive stroke. You would think that my family would put aside all their crap to come together before she is taken off life support tonight. But NOOOOOO. Everyone is letting their egos and hurt feelings take over. Becuase of all the BS drama a bunch of the family has said they are not attending the funeral....SERIOUSLY??? SHE'S NOT EVEN DEAD YET!!!!!  Ugh...my cousin and I, who are the youngest in the family, are the ONLY ones that have remained level headed about all the decisions that have been made and we have ended up mediators for the two factions of family members.

To my family: STFU AND GET OVER YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay...vent over...feel better. Thanks for listening.

Sorry about you grandmother.  It's so sad to sometimes see the way adults act when they should be putting their needs / wants aside.

I get it. So much drama when my mom  was sick. My brother walked around like she was dead already. I hope  you family grows up.

I'm so sorry about your grandma and how your family is acting.  My dh experienced something similar when his grandma died - his cousins were actually fighting over who got what jewelry - at the funeral.
