Pregnant after a Loss

Surfergirl

Hi there :O)

You asked about Jake knowing yet....

Jake does not know I am PG this time
He may figure it out since he will be with me at the ultrasound tomorrow.
I planned on telling him after the second U/S was good.
The losses were hard for him to understand ... One minute Mommy is having a baby the next she is not.
Plus he is in school now & cannot keep secrets
At least once he goes back to school I will be 10 weeks so if he spills the beans it will not be as bad

BTW thanks for the well wishes
How are you doing?

Re: Surfergirl

  • I totally know what you mean about it being hard for them to understand the losses. We were so excited last time and blabbed to DD right away, then we sort of stopped talking about it. So we were really careful about telling her this time--but at this point the belly's a bit hard to deny. ;) We talk about baby brother a lot now, and last night she looked at my belly and said, "Did you know your belly's getting really big?" LOL, thanks.

I'm glad you're doing well--I'm rooting for you!!

  • Yeah I don't think you could deny a 21wk baby belly LOL

That is sweet that she talks about a baby brother :O)

Yeah... except when we ask her what we should name baby brother, she says, "No! Baby SISTER!"

She's going to be really disappointed unless she learns to wrap her head around this LOL.
