    According to the Social Security website, it was #63. I trust that website most.

    Sweetie, it's just a super popular name right now. No matter where you look, it will remain high.

    That doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. If you love it, then use it.

    Yeah it seems strange that it was in the 50's and 60 and is now #6.  BUT I've seen a lot of ladies on here use it.

    Darn it.

    But also Alyssa is no where on the list at all and it was the in the teens for a few years.

    *edit oh I found it in the 50s.

    I still love madelyn though.

    I love it too (I think I'm gonna go with the Madeline spelling) and have loved it for years and years.  It sucks that it had to become popular now.  And all the Madisons out there don't help matters. 

    It's the name we both love and could agree on, and finding that was a rare thing.  If both you and your hubby love it, I say go for it!
