Despite my best efforts to deal with or ease my back pain, it just seems to be getting worse and more frequent. I caved today and just made an appointment with an accpuncuture place for Wednesday. The hospital we are delivering at recommended this place and gave everyone on the L/D tour her brochure, which includes a 10% discount. She specialies in accupuncture treatments during pregnancy. I sure hope this provides some relief because if it's like this at 30 weeks I don't want to know how it will be in the coming weeks!

Re: XP: Anyone doing Accupuncture for back pain?
Oh poor girl! That sucks that you have all that back aching going on! Please tell me how the accupuncture works if that is what you decide to do.
Good luck!
I did acupuncture to increase my fertility, and some early on to support the pregnancy, but when I developed back pain (at 24ish weeks), I tried chiropractic instead. It's so focused, quick, and effective. I strongly recommend it, provided you can find someone who is trained to work with pregnant women and has the right equipment.
Sorry you're hurting, and good luck!
