I just made a HUGE dent in my Christmas shopping. I feel so good about it. :sigh of relief:
Went to Costco and got DH his big gift - a surround sound system! It's exactly the price I wanted to spend so I felt really good about it, too. We're also suffing each other's stockings (lol - I'm a pervert) and I found a book that I think he'll be interested in for $5.29, and got him Car & Driver magazine, too. I want to get him the Alicia Keys CD and a few pieces of candy and I'll be done.
They also had my FAVORITE bags of dog treats on sale for $3 off per bag, so basically if I bought 4 bags, the 5th was free. So I did just that. One with go to my in-laws'... one to a friend... and the rest for our fur gang.
I went to Petsmart and got some toys for the in-laws' dogs, and found a Rhodesian Ridgeback calendar (they have 2 of them) so I was thrilled with that. We bought them a subscription to Dog Fancy, so I picked up a copy to wrap (along with a note).
Got my parents their Food & Wine mag which will also be wrapped & attached with a note about their subscription.
Got my OTHER in-laws their coffee grinder & bag of coffee beans, also from Costco.
I feel SO MUCH BETTER. Now, I just need to wrap DH's things before he gets home. ![]()
Re: I'm pretty sure this is what being Superwoman feels like.
Lucky! I'm hoping I can get it all done by tomarrow. I'm usually done shopping before December so this is beyond stressfull!
Side bar- did Charlie (that's his name right?) go to his forever home?
Charlie met his new parents yesterday and everything went so well. He also met his new fur sister and they got along just fine. The next step is us taking him to their home on Wednesday, and if everything goes well on *their* turf, he'll be staying with them.... forever.
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's boxermama!!!
I wish I could be as productive as you!
