I'm sure it's from rubbing my eyes so much from crying.  They freaking hurt and I can't put my contacts in.

Ouch!

A Columbian friend of ours told us an old wives tale that is supposed to help. Put a butter knife on a plate and leave it out over night. First thing the next morning, press the flat side of the knife against your eye.

Something about the cold night air is supposed to help... DH has done this. At the very least it feels good. Can't hurt, right?

Put a hot (as hot as you can tolerate) wet washcloth on your eye and rest. I hope it feels better.

I hate even having one (I have one now, in fact) so I can't imagine having two.

This is what I've done.  I hope they go away soon!

Yeah, the hot washcloth is the only thing that helps.  I wish they would just go away, though.

Warm wet compresses!  Try not to rub.

ALSO, if you can see with out your contacts well enough check out your eye lashes, sometimes they can get ingrown, if you pluck the one in the area sometimes that helps too.
