Is anyone moving up a size in maternity clothes? I noticed that the medium shirts are a little short now, so I am going to move up to a large. Is this the norm or are you sticking with one size?
So far still in my size "small"s... even though I've gained over 20 pounds!! Hoping that won't change- as it's the only bit of sanity I have left- to see that my maternity size hasn't changed lol
I bought some small pants and small shirts ( Im petite to begin with) and I think the pants are going to fit for a long time but the shirts are all getting a little short. Time to move up to mediums I supose. My mom bought me some large shirts but I dont know if I will ever be able to wear them. Saving them just in case.
So far my shirts are OK because they were bigger to begin with, but I did have to move up from a small to a medium in pants. I'm hoping my new mediums will last till the end!

Not in my reg clothes maternity...as for my uniforms ( air force)....I think I need bigger ones. But I really don't want to spend the cash on buying MORE maternity uniforms. they're not cheap!!
im still in reg clothes. my pre prego jeans still fit I just dont like to have to un button when i sit. and as for maternity shirts...Ive found reg shirts to work just as well & cost less. the style of clothes is big a flowy so thats what i choose to wear.

Don't feel bad at all! I have changed sizes a bit. Mostly in tops. I was loaned some maternity tops by a girl in my bible study, and when I first started to show they were all like tents. They are beginning to fit now. I also purposefully bought a larger size of maternity jeans for later on that were so baggy to begin with that they looked ridiculous. They are still a bit loose, but are starting to fit. I don't know about every pregnant lady, but I'm definately gaining in sizes!
No but I bought bigger than I normally wear. Everything is still pretty loose, especially my pants, and I am so grateful. I'd feel so worried about it (for weight gain AND financial reasons) had I bought stuff that was snug and perfect-fitting in my first trimester.
No, but I tend to dress baggy, so it's now just snug. Im sure I'll need to move up in size, though!
TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d). TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2 born March 2014 (40w1d).
Not yet but I know I will need to. I didn't buy my clothes baggy when I bought the first round, and I bought them pretty early - 11 weeks or so.
I am trying to hold off till January, but the pants especially are becoming increasingly tight. I also got some of the half panel pants at old navy which were baggy in the stomach (the panel is cotton and doesn't stretch nearly as much) and now the elastic on the panel is digging in where my belly button is and creating a B belly effect that I don't normally have.
So yeah, I'm going to have to buy another round. Sigh
Re: Late 2nd tri ladies
Not yet but soon. I noticed my pants that were big at first are starting to get tighter.
My coat was big at one point now it fits also.
I had picked up two pairs of large pants just in case and it looks like I'm going to be needing them after all.
