If I remember correctly, TMZ was the first to confirm that Michael Jackson was dead (and not just in a hospital as other "news" sources were saying).

She lost a lot of weight since Clueless.  A girl that my mom went to high school died of a heart attack in her late 20s that was related to her anorexia.

This.TMZ reported michael dead like an hour before anyone else lol...I use TMZ for all my celebrity news
