I haven't actually used the Freestyle, but did to a breast pump research study to use a different hands free pump that was incredibly difficult to get suction. I'd imagine the Medela version would HAVE to be better, but you also can't go wrong with the pmp in style/
I've heard from LCs that the PISA is better than the Freestyle. You can learn how to hold both pumps on with one arm/hand so you still have one hand to read, check email, etc. The suction on the freestyle is apparently not as good.
I got the PIS with my last DC, and found I was actually able to use it hand free in a sense, while sitting. I just left my bra on and tucked the pump cups in the bra cups, and that held the pump just fine to still use my hands for typing, reading, whatever!
I'm getting the Freestyle because I like that I don't need to be plugged in while using it. I plan on using it at work, and my options are either the exercise room bathroom, or my car... so I think a battery pump is better for me.
Re: Medela Freestyle or Medela Pump In Style?
