Worst AF accident?

My sisters and I were talking about how me being off the pill has made AFs heavier etc.  (they are still on the pill) and we compared worst AF disasters... what was yours?

Here is mine: It was the day before my wedding and I was just finishing my AF on the pill and thought I was all done b/c I only saw spotting that day.

I was wearing a cream dress with a cardigan and after the rehearsal at dinner I felt something warm and I realized AF hadn't left yet. Ugh.

It was too late to control the damage, I had already leaked through my liner onto my dress. Egad....

Thankfully I caught it before anyone noticed and motioned to my sisters and discreetly told them what happened.

They 'covered' me as I went to the bathroom, mind you I am in the church fellowship hall with 40 of my family and friends. 

We were able to get the spot out of my dress and my sister (I can't believe I am even admitting this) lent me her panties and she just wore her pantyhose (good sister huh?)

I borrowed my other sister's long jacket (claimed I was chilly) it was December in a drafty church so no one raised a brow.

Thankfully it was near the end of the night and we all went home. DH didn't even know it happened until after the wedding.

Luckily this hasn't happened to me, but in math class in Jr. High my friend was in front of me and when she stood up her entire pink shirt was soaked through.  I started gagging.

Mine was horrible!  It was the last day of freshman year in high school.  A big group of friends went out on a pontoon boat.  I was wet from swimming and we were all standing on the top deck, when a guy was climbing up fromn the bottom and started screaming that I was bleeding!!  It was so embarrassing, not to mention I was stranded on a boat with nowhere to change my tampon.  SCARRED ME FOR LIFE!

I was traveling with my ex and we decided to have hotel sex. Well I was not aware that AF started. After we were done it looked like someone got murdered in the bed. I was so embarrassed. I had him check out and I went to the car with my head down.

Mine isn't so bad.  One day I was watching a movie with a good friend of mine.  When I got up off the couch she started laughing and pointed to the back of my jeans.  Because I was laying down my pad didn't cover it, and I had some red spots on the back of my jeans.

July - something similar happened to me in 7th grade.  I wanted to die.

Right? We giggled like school girls b/c no one knew she was practically commando and in a church no less!

Wednesday was bad, but I did have one in HS that was worse.

I bled like a stuck hog back then for several days. I would usually skip CD1 because my cramps were so bad (the school nurse knew my cycle as well as I did). It was probably a CD2 or CD3. I knew I was bleeding like all hell, but I didn't think it was too bad. I made it through my first 4 classes and was getting up to leave for lunch. I had seen something on my chair after my 3rd class, but thought it was just something that I didn't notice when I sat down. But it was there again after the 4th one too. It was freaking blood- I had bled through my pad and pants and it was all over my chair.

Fortunately dressing in layers was "cool" then, so I tied my over shirt around my waist, wiped the chair and went to the bathroom to confirm what it was. I was correct. I quickly went to the nurses office, told her I was having another bad day and had just thrown up. Quick call to mom and she send me home. I sat on my shirt to keep from getting it all over my car.

I doubt anyone knew what was going on, but I wanted to die that day.

 

Dear Lord that sucks! I did have a close call in middle school but NEVER like that!

I had to point out to a co-worker who was using the copy machine that she was leaking.  She teaches 4th grade and I didn't want her to have the embarrassment of the kids noticing.

In 8th grade my AF was always super light and I wore white shorts to school one day and AF decided to get super heavy that day of course.  Bled through the shorts, got laughed at till I tied a jacket around my waist for the rest of the day.

 Weird thing was, there was a school dance that night and a lot of new boys were paying attention to me that night that never even glanced my way before.

Mine is similar to this but mine happened in Jr High. I think it was only the 1st or 2nd period I got and my mom convinced me to wear a tampon instead of just using a pad. Well, I didn't realize just how heavy my flow was until I was leaving my science class. I stood up & my tampon was so over-full of blood/heavy that it fell out ! Thankfully, it was still in my panties, but there was also a smear of blood on the seat ( which I also wiped off with a flannel shirt I was wearing). I rushed to the ladies room practically walking like a penguin as I didn't want it to fall out of my panties, down my leg pant and on the floor. Luckily I made it there before that happened.  Needless to say, I didn't want to take any chances wearing tampon for a long time.

 

ETA that it didn't fall out from being inserted wrong...just that my flow was so much heavier than I thought.

Mine was in my freshman year in high school.  I only wore pads then and I was bleeding very heavy. I was wearing khaki pants and when I went to the bathroom I noticed that it had leaked all on my pants.  Thank God I was wearing a long shirt and could cover it. Ever since then I have always wore tampons.

My first visit ever from AF was on the first day of junior high (7th grade). What are the chances?! I had to go home half way through the day to change. I'm not sure if anyone noticed but everyone kept asking me why I showed back up to school in a different outfit. I think I said something like, I was tired of the other one, which probably sounded weird.
