DH and I have been Team Green since before we got PG. Now, with the big u/s approaching - 12/30, I'm really starting to waiver. My birthday is the 2nd so I asked DH if I could have the tech write down the sex on a picture and open it for my birthday. I wouldn't tell him - or any of our family/friends, but I think it'd be nice to have a present for myself this year

There's no way I couldn't tell anyone... I'd rather just wait then be the only one who knew!  I'd want to tell everyone!

If you do find out, just decide on a pronoun with DH beforehand and stick to it.

I have no desire to tell people what we're having - or what even what I think it is! Then they start giving your their opinions and advice and all the extra tidbits you never expect to get.

Also, LO is known as Peanut so s/he would still be referred to as Peanut.

You'd be surprised at how easy it is to simply say "she" or "he" once you know what it is.  DH and I decided that it was all or nothing... either we both find out or we both wait.

I don't know, I still refer to my baby as "it" even after finding out the gender!  I think if you already call it something it becomes a habit.  I really have to remind myself to say SHE.  The hardest part for me would be not buying gender specific clothing, etc
