I just threw away about 100 shoes...

Last year for Valentines Day, DH had a room of our house redone for me as a huge walk-in closet.  It has a whole wall of shoe cubbies.  So we moved my favorite shoes to it... but I never really moved my summer shoes... this summer I wore a few things over and over... but left most of my summer shoes behind in the little hovel under the stairs....

A few weeks ago our cleaning lady went in to clean and organize in there... and discovered that somehow my cats have been gaining access and using my shoes as toilets.

yep, I just checked through the THREE clothing hampers of shoes.  None were salvageable.

Grrrr....  I'm soooo annoyed....
