Pregnant after a Loss

Where do u live & how much snow did you/are u getting?

I swear if I wasn't a teacher I would be a meteorologist just for the fun of forecasting snow!  Love it!  I was just watching the Today show and it's amazing how big this storm really is!  "Record breaking" totals in many areas!

Where do you live and how much snow did you get/are you supposed to get there???

Re: Where do u live & how much snow did you/are u getting?

  • I'm in the Philadelphia area, and they're calling for up to 12-18 inches. WOW!!
  • In VA - 11 inches so far with another 4 on the way this afternoon...and of course no one knows what to do so the entire town shuts down. So, I'm stuck inside today having a snow day!Big Smile

  • It's not snowing here and it looks like we'll be missing the storm all together.

  • We're supposed to get up to 2 or 3 that's about it.  Not a lot but still enough to send people out to "stock up" at the store. It's funny!
  • I'm south of Pittsburgh and we have 4 inches and are suppose to get a couple more. It's still coming down.

  • None.  We just get cold, nasty rain.

I really, really hate the weather in south virginia.  It's not fair!!! 25 minutes west of us, it's snowing.  But, noooooooooooooo, not in Hampton Roads.

We just get the rain and flooding.  Jerks.

I am a bit North of Pittsburgh.

We have about 4 too  and no sign of stopping!

  • I live in Cancun and I would kill for snow right about now. It?s been soooo hot like 80 something all week, 90 last week, until this morning, it?s actually a little chilly out (it?s cause Christmas is coming hehe) from the rain shower we got last night. I swear it wasn?t this hot at this time last year. It?s pretty rediculous to still be sweating in December

    Same as this.

  • Since I live in San Diego, we don't ever get snow. I grew up in Indiana, so I get really homesick in the winters. I love snow so much! Oh, and I get homesick in the spring because I miss thunderstorms.

  • I'm on the central coast of California (Monterey) and I don't think they know what snow is around here... yesterday it was sunny and in the 60's... if it gets into the 50's they start freaking out and talking about how "extremely cold" it is!  It's beautiful weather, but I just moved here from Colorado and I miss the snow!!
  • No snow for us.  We just got a cold rain yesterday however my parents who are only 30 mins away from me got a little dusting of snow.  That's fine with me though because I have a million things to do this weekend and whenever it snows here the whole city shuts down.

  • We're in MD, north of DC and west of Baltimore. Have about 12 inches so far, with 15-24 total inches expected. It's beautiful... But why couldn't this come on a school day??? :)
  • Im in Cali also, San Jose area and we get zero snow.... everyonce in a while in the Santa Cruz mountians there is a light dusting that always makes the news. I was born and raised here.... so I dont know any different

  • I'm in Vancouver, Canada, so we're missing the storm. We had one last week that dumped 20 cm in a day - but it melted the next morning. It's so warm now that it feels like spring, and they're only calling for rain on Christmas. Boo!

We used to live in Mont Co. and I was a teacher too!  DH made this same point that it's too bad it's not a school day for them!

I'm in Italy.  No snow here.  A bit of rain this morning... kinda chilly, say 50's-ish?

  • 5.5 inches in Greensboro, NC.  That is enough to shut the town down and we are enjoying being snowed in.  My only regret is it seems irresponsible to sled at 7 months preg.
  • In Hawaii (Oahu)... no snow, just tons of vog from the volcano on the Big Island....

  • In Connecticut we are supposed to get about a foot.  But with the way people are reacting you'd think we were getting three feet.  Everyone just needs to remember that we will be "snowed in" for hours, not days!
  • We are in the 6-12 range

  • Lancaster County, PA.  We have about 9 inches on the ground and it's still snowing.  My husband has been out every couple hours shoveling the driveway, trying to keep it clean.
