MD appointment yesterday

LO has done nothing. We have no progress :( I was hoping not to be pregnant for that much longer... The doctor said looks like you have about 4 more weeks!

    At least you are 36 weeks with no progress and not 40 weeks with no progress!  :)   Baby will come soon enough...hang in there!

    Ugh, that's what I heard at my 36 week appointment. "0 cm and soft". Fat lot of good that does me. I'm so done being pregnant, I want my boy here!

    I know you guys are frustrated with no progress, but you're 36 weeks and still have time to progress. When you get to 40 and still have no progress, its a little tougher to swallow! Don't worry about progressing so much, especially at 36 weeks. It will happen! I didn't start until 37/38 weeks anyway. Now I'm almost due and barely 2cm, 80%.

    At my practice they usually don't start checking until 38 weeks, unless you are just dying to know.  One of the doctor's told me it is because there really is no way to predict and it just either gets peoples hopes up, or in your case, down.  I know a coworker who went for an appt. on a Monday and her baby was due Friday- she was not dilated at all and they told her they'd see her back the next monday...and she had the baby Thursday morning.  You just never know!

    I've heard of people having no progress and going into labor a couple days later - don't give up yet!
