help me with the wording on a picture frame!

 DH's granddad used to have a chair that has been passed down to his dad, then to DH. The chair is being junked, it is in disrepair.

I used the fabric to make a mat for a picture frame, and put a picture of granddad in the frame. I'd like to get a little plaque saying something on the frame. But what? Something about family weaving us together...common threads..I'm stumped! 

So far all I can think of is "The Fabric of Our Lives"...lol

Maybe something along the lines of "The tie that binds our hearts together forever with love" . . . ill have to keep thinking. . . im too tired to be much help right now lol
