Blood in puke?

Has anyone had this? my Ob is concerned w my blood pressure and i was sent to the hospital early this week bc of it, and this morning I puked and there was blood in it.. I called my dr n she said it was bc my throat must be irritated.. but it feels fine... kinda scary

When I still had MS bad I would throw up blood and my OB said my throat was irritated. Do you still throw up a lot?

No I've probably thrown up three times this whole PG counting today

Hmm thats weird! I know for me on the day I threw up blood it was like my 6th time throwing up that day

See that would make sense to me..  I googled it and it is a sign of preeclampsia.. so far the only thing I dont have is protein in urine or any swelling... Also it was a nurse that I spoke to but i assume she talked to one of my drs..

This totally freaked me out one night as well. Apparently she chocked it up to a popped blood vessel. She was more concerned with the fact that I as throwing up at midnight in my 25th week. I wouldn't worry too much!

Yeah she seemed more concerned that I had a migraine lol .. stressing doesnt do any good and they are the pros.. still I feel like I have Stigmata lol

yes can actually very common esp if you puke really hard (sorry i know that is gross) but it is very common in drunks. i feel for you! i am glad i never had to deal with that but i can't imagine puking with a big belly in the way!

I threw up blood a lot in the 1st tri.  Most of the time, the irritation is lower than your nerves, so you don't feel it. . .If it gets worse or continues for more than a day or two, call your OB again because it can cause permanent damage.
