an idea about Santa from yesterdays discussions

i forgot to post this yesterday but i have a friend from college (reconnected via FB last year) and her family does 3 gifts per person-and that is all.   she got the idea from a co-worker.   Jesus got 3 gifts so that is all anyone else should get (is the basic concept).  Just though I would share.

Lol this is true. Cute idea though.

I actually like that idea. We always threw a Happy Birthday Jesus party for the kids at school. I taught at a Christian School and we encouraged all the kids to bring gifts to go to toys for tots. It gave them a better perspective on gift giving and receiving.

Brilliant idea!  We've thought of doing that too.  And even if He did get more gifts from others, the three are significant to the actual story, so three makes perfect sense to me.
