Anyone buy "Jersey dresses" from ON?

I am trying to find some deals on stuff to wear to work.  My suit pants are killing!  I'm worried these dresses will be too casual.

Has anyone bought one?  Can you dress them up with tights/heels??

Thanks!

  • I bought a different jersey dress from ON and wore it to temple with MIL this past weekend.  Wore black tights, heels, and a purple pashmina and it looked pretty dressed up.  Pretty comfy too!  GL!

PS - throw in a cute pair of earrings and you're good to go.

  • I think If you pair this with tights it would be adorable! I havent tried any dresses yet but that dress is VERY cute- i think paired with leggings and heels it would be very cute... or if heels are hurting, try a thick beltjust under your chest? might be a cute way to dress it up :)

Thanks!  This is what I was hoping!  Plus, as it gets warmer, might be able to get more use out of it than the sweater dresses (which I'm buying too)  LOL

  • I haven't bought one from there, but I bought two at Walmart, one at Fairweather and one at Banada Republic. I love  love love them with black tights underneath and with heels, or booties, or even funky flats!
  • I don't have that particular one, but I have a bunch of other cotton maternity dresses from ON, and I love them! You can definitely dress them up for work.  Nice shoes and accessories, and you are dressed up.

I really like their maternity leggings too - I pair them with mid-calf boots and wear them with the dresses (they are warmer than tights and more comfortable), which is perfect for my casual office.

  • I have this dress in black. It's super cute, I even wore a long sleeved shirt under it and it was cute! You could wear a sweater over it with tights and it would definitely be dressy enough I think.

The fabric doesnt seem overly casual in person, IMO.

It's very comfortable and easy to dress up with heels or boots and some jewelry.

  • I have this dress in the blue and I have worn it out as more of a dressy / party dress than something I'd wear in the office. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it! We aware the armholes are kind of big. Because of the deep V and the arm holes, I have to wear a tank under it.

  • I haven't bought any from ON but I have from BR in a bigger size.  I just wear it with a nice cardigan and cute shoes.  I think you should be fine.  But I guess it really depends on what the dress code is for your office.
  • I have one and its very cute, you can definitely dress it up for work...just so you know they run really big. I went a size smaller than I normally wear and it fit great.
  • Wear a jacket over it and dressy shoes.
  • I bought one a while back, but it was huge so I never ended up wearing it.  I think they run a little big IMO.

Mine was solid colored and would have been really hard to dress up, but maybe the print would be easier.
