does your contractions need to be to call doc.. 4-5?

I was told yesterday they need to be 4-5 minutes apart for more than an hour.

Lurker here but wanted to say that my discharge papers from L&D say for premature labor: contractions every 10-15 minutes or less.  Hope that helps.

4-5 minutes and regular for about an hour is what I was told!!
