2nd Trimester

I think we're in for a handful...

Every time the doctor listens for the heartbeat, he tells us those swishes are the baby moving. Every doctor I've seen is surprised how much the baby moves around lol.

  • Uh oh... Haha.

At least you'll lose you baby weight quickly. :-)

  • When I was pregnant with DS2 he moved so much that the OB could rarely count his heart rate, let alone keep the doppler on him. He hasn't changed much. He is all over the place!
  • Same here!  And before the tech even started the u/s last week she said she could already tell there were somersaults going on.

Ditto this. And at my ultra sound this week we actually got to see LO moving like crazy. I can't feel anything yet, so when I do I know I'm in for possible discomfort!

  • Same for us.  They had a heck of a time doing the anatomy scan because he would not stop moving.  And when the nurse tries to check the heartbeat with the doppler at regular appointments, she's always saying, "Stop running away from me!" because he's just rockin' and rollin' in there.

I'm nervous about his energy level because we are old and slow!
