hip pain...tylenol?

I have had bad hip pain for almost 2 weeks now.  It started as an ache then bad enough to where I have been limping and gimping around for over a week, then added where if I bend or am sitting/getting up I get a sharp pain in my right hip, lower back that goes down my legs that makes me suck in my breathe and want to use swear words.  I am new to the third tri so I have a ways to go.  The dr said I could use tylenol and a heating pad.  I sleep with a pillow between my legs and the heating pad isn't doing much.  I have avoided using the tylenol but am thinking I may need to start.  What do you ladies do for pain?  I'm afraid it won't get any better

I've had more headaches w/this pregnancy than w/the last;  I take Tylenol and it works for me...

my doc told me all the same stuff plus a support band and none of it (including the tylenol) has helped me in anyway. so now shes telling me to just lay in bed most of the time with my feet elivated (im swelling also)

but the doc has basically gotten down to telling me there isn't anything we can do to help the pain im just gonna have to suffer through cause im having the godzilla baby -_-;

haha i sleep with two pillows between my legs and that seems to help a little bit though. but no the tylenol hasnt helped
