  • last I heard, she told everyone she would tell the neighbors the next day.  The next day, a dog with a broken leg was found on the same stretch of road.  They were unsure if it was the same dog, but hey, at least a dog got helped, even if it wasn't the right one.   I hope it was the same dog, though.  I guess the dog was fine other than the leg.

  • Do you remember the woman other than myself that called to report it? Her father is a sargent (sp?) in the police department of New York and had sent people out the dog killer's way to search for the dog. They found a dog walking along side of the road later that night with a broken leg and other injuries sustained. They don't know if that's the dog for sure, but the owners were notified and the dog was taken to receive medical care.

I don't think that she has heard anything from that point on. As for the OP, the GBCB still stands, thank goodness.

  • I am SO glad that a dog got help that otherwise probably wouldn't have.  I hope it was the same dog, but if it wasn't, I'm still sooo thankful another dog received help!
  • I'm so glad that something good came out of the whole thing!
