Dumb question- Tucks in hospital

I've noticed that some of you are packing Tucks to take to the hospital and some of you have mentioned that your hospital provides them... I have the 'roids too, although, I consider them fairly tolerable and don't do anything to treat them. But is this need for Tucks because the 'roids will get worse during/after delivery?

your whole nether region hurts so bad, and its just nice and cool and soothing especially after birth, especially if you rip, or are cut. and yes, all that pushing does a number to pre-existing hemmoroids

tucks are good for your anus and vagina.  you'll line them up on a long pad and be so thankful!  my hospital provided everything.
