Hey!  I'm here, but I'll be in and out cause we're packing up for vacation!  I'm leaving work early tomorrow so we can get on the road.  We're driving from Madison to Philadelphia (yikes).  We're planning on staying overnight somewhere in Ohio.

Wow!!! That's a drive! Ohio is a good half way point. We have done Crown Point, IN to Lancaster which is about 10 hours. We did it in one day. Cops are everywhere in Ohio...watch your speed.

Do you happen to be from Crown Point???  I was born and raised in NWIN!  Born in Gary,  but lived in Hobart until a year and a half ago when I moved to PA to marry my husband who is going to school out here. I miss it soooo much, but will be back in a week for the holidays!

I was a wedding planner for 4 years at a high-end country club--my house is a warehouse of party planning items, so I just used stuff that I already had.

She's getting married in Canton, OH in July.

I should be getting my period any day now. I was on BCP to keep my cycle in check. I was on it for 5 weeks with no sugar pill. I have been spotting but no AF!

It was a very rewarding job, but unbelievably exhausting and stressful (and not from bridezilla drama, it's just labor intensive). I wasn't treated right/paid enough to do what I did, so I got burned out on it.

I got my college degree in public relations, so I'm doing that again. The wedding thing was a great career detour--turns out I'm great at sales, which was 80% of my job.
