QOTD: What is the biggest thing that you have left on your list to get done before baby arrives?
Me: I would like her to stay put til after Christmas, I want Elliot to have one last Christmas all to himself. Prep wise I think we are ready... I just have to pack bags and since I plan on laboring at home for as long as possible , I will have time then.
Re: First in '10 Thursday Check In
QOTD: We need to finalize day care (choose one of 2 great options!) and pick a pediatrician.
Oh, and choose a name for this adorable little girl too!!
I literally don't think I have anything left to do! Nursery has been ready for weeks, his clothes have been washed forever (and I wash them as I get new ones now), I packed the hospital bags on Tuesday except for a couple things I'm getting for Christmas, he's our first so no other kids to think about, we have a pediatrician, and I'm going to be a SAHM, so no daycare.
I'm really Type-A, so I just couldn't wait to do anything! I'm so ready for him to be here.
Most everything is done to prepare for our little girl's arrival. We just need to move the bassinet into our room, and move the swing into the living room. Both are still in the nursery right now. DH's family is coming for Christmas, so I would like to wait just a while longer before moving everything around.
I finally got all of her clothes and things washed up earlier in the week.
The nursery. Which includes probably just buying a crib at this point (my sister said I could have hers, but her DS is still in it, and they haven't gotten him a new bed yet).
I don't think we really have anything big left to do that is a necessity before LO arrives. Just a whole lot of small things: installing the car seats, washing more clothes, picking up the glider and having MIL recover the cushions, shopping for what's left on our registry (tonight), etc.

What is the biggest thing that you have left on your list to get done before baby arrives?
The biggest, or most important would be to get the carseat/travelsystem put together. But that is just the first in a long list of crap I need to do. If this baby comes before 40 weeks, i'm screwed! LOL!

Oh gosh, I was thinking about this today. I still have lots to do! Most importantly, I need to pack my hospital bag and get the car seat installed and inspected. We still need to put the swing and bouncy seat together, de-tag and wash some clothes for the baby, and my mom needs to finish making the crib sheets and crib skirt :-) Whew. This weekend I am focusing on the car seat and hospital bag.
Oh sh!t, we need to do that too :-)
