Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Between my kids at school having 3 days of subs in a row and Christmas being just 8 days away, they are a little crazy today... This is what the coming to the end of your rope sounds like in my classroom...

"Boys and girls, I have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed.  I think we all need to keep in mind what time of year it is and who could be watching us...(dramatic pause)  That's right....Santa is watching!!! And he has been known to call me to find out who has been listening and paying attention at school."

 Hahaha, yep I said exactly like!  Works like a charm though. They are now as quiet as church mice.

I use the Elf on a Shelf with my 4 year old, It's an elf that comes with a book telling the story of how he flies to the North Pole every night and tells Santa how you were. Then the next morning he has to find where he landed and he'll be watching from all day....It's fun to look for him every morning and whenever he starts getting crazy I just remind him that the Elf is watching and point at him....Works like a charm!

Oh that is good. I used to tell my little siblings that I was going to call 555-santa and report them for misbehavior. But then they actually kept trying to call the number when they realized they could call too.

At my old school there was a video clip of my principal talking on the home page. She was sitting in her office. I would put up the still picture of her on the computer and tell them she was watching...

My mom is a teacher and every year she tells the kids that she has Santa's phone number and calls my dad. He always plays along and they always prep before the call so he can tell the kid something they did that week. It works great!
